A statement from my advisor Robert Platt:
"Uli's 2017 CoRL paper was "Learning a visuomotor controller for real world robotic grasping using simulated depth images" with authors, Ulrich Viereck, Andreas ten Pas, Kate Saenko, Robert Platt. Uli was first author and he was the primary contributor to the paper. He did the bulk of the theoretical and experimental work. The acceptance rate at CoRL in 2017 was in the neighborhood of 30%. I think this paper demonstrates Uli's research potential for future phd studies."
